FOREST MANAGEMENT
Your forest is an asset. Like any asset, it should be managed, if it is to appreciate
in value. Many forest owners consider their forested assets as a multiple use commodity,
providing watershed protection, wetland enhancement, wildlife habitat, recreational enjoyment,
soil stabilization, aesthetic benefits and economic return. Other owners prefer a more narrow focus.
Whether one considers forest ownership a multiple use commodity or a single purpose investment, Wildlife
Technical Services professional resource managers can assist you in identifying priority objectives
and in balancing those objectives with resource capability and individual need. An initial meeting and
site visit is generally required to discuss objectives and to determine a "best fit" approach to meeting that
(those) objective(s).
