Forest Management Plan
- Used to establish short term and long term forest management objectives
- Commonly includes a preamble or statement of purpose stated in the owners own words
- Includes elements recorded in the initial timber cruise as well as the integration of those elements into an overall plan consistent with the owners objective(s)
- Prioritizes owners management objectives according to forest type, distribution and need
- Provides a schedule of management activities and a timetable for accomplishment of those activities
- Allows for flexibility in adding/modifying selected elements pertinent to management of a particular property or property component
